About Personal Watercraft Riding
What is it Like?
Riding a WaveRunner is exhilarating. Our WaveRunners can accelerate up to 55 miles per hour within three seconds, allowing them to cut through the water effortlessly. You'll feel the wind in your hair and the spray of the water while exploring the clear, warm waters of Destin. If you're looking in the right place, you can even drive by dolphins, sea turtles or sharks. You can also easily perform tricks or stunts with our adjustable handles and choice of either stand-up or sit-down vehicles.
You'll never have to pay for gas, either, because we're covering the cost. This means you can go as far out at sea as you want, just so long as you don't strand yourself.
Where are the Must-see Spots in Destin?
Okaloosa Island - A great spot for finding Atlantic bottlenose dolphins and sea turtles. Stop at the Crab Trap at Fort Walton Beach for the catch of the day.
Henderson Beach State Park - Easily find shore birds like the ibis and black skimmer, and watch Monarch butterflies migrate in the fall. Sink your feet into the 30-foot, snow-white sand dunes, too.
Crab Island - Pass underneath U.S. Highway 98 to see Crab Island: a sandbar for wading in the water or relaxing on your watercraft. There are even a few shops wading right on the water for you to visit.
Marler Bayou - If you have your fishing license, stop by this bay to get some largemouth bass.

Required Safety Equipment
Rider Safely
Although our WaveRunner rental shop will provide the following equipment for you, it's always a good idea to make sure you've got everything you need before heading out. Below is the list of required safety equipment you should have with you while riding a WaveRunner:
Life Jacket
Fire Extinguisher (Coast Guard Approved)
Whistle/Horn
Lanyard Kill-switch
Vessel Registration
Some other items you may need that aren't provided include:
Sunscreen
Hat
Towel
Waterproof Phone Bag
Lunch Box
Anchor
Distress Signal (flare, signal mirror, handheld safety flag, etc.)
The additional items you want to bring on your journey can fit into our WaveRunner's large storage compartments on the side of the vehicle. Many of our provided items will help keep you safe while you're out on the water. Being prepared may save a rider's life during an emergency.
Are WaveRunners dangerous?
WaveRunners aren't dangerous by nature. They only become dangerous when an inexperienced driver is behind the wheel or if an accident of some sort strikes. Additionally, driving while intoxicated can create a dangerous situation. So get to know how to ride a WaveRunner before trying to use one on open waters.
Some common safety procedures to follow:
Always wear your life jacket
Wear a helmet if you're performing tricks
Don't drink while driving
Hold on to the driver when riding as a passenger
Pay attention to buoys and what they're telling you

Best Vacay Ever
My family and I had a great time in the water while riding the waverunners. The staff was super nice and helpful. The rental process was easy, so we got on the water pretty fast.

Riding the Jet Skis
First time riding a jet ski, and I was blown away! Dolphins swam by us and said hello. We also saw some sea turtles. Would definitely go again!

Awesome Experience
Had a great time. Rented waverunner with my 10 yr old daughter. She asks to come back every day to jet ski.
